Who we are
The SEA Centre (SEAC) is one of the Government Security Centres established to provide specific centralised services to departments. We are a specialist team of security education and awareness professionals who champion best practice across Government. We work with Government departments and collaborate with the Government Security Group, National Technical Authorities and other Government Security Centres. We support and supplement SEA professionals and teams to help them improve their education and awareness programmes.
Our vision
To improve security culture behaviour change, build SEA capability across Government and reduce human risk in line with the Government Security Strategy, through the provision of a centrally co-ordinated, streamlined approach to Government SEA, providing high-quality, high-impact campaign material and best practice products.
SEAC Objectives
Grow and scale a collaborative community of SEA practitioners Develop SEA skills, knowledge and capability across government to help SEA practitioners deliver SEA programmes Produce value-adding pan-government SEA campaigns, products and best-practice material to improve SEA standards across government Promote and support the development of SEA programmes across government organisations Enable/establish mechanisms for departments to track SEA performance and evaluation
