Accelerating Cyber Transformation – Government Cyber Security Conference 2025

On Wednesday, 29 January, the annual Government Cyber Security Conference took place at the Design Museum, South Kensington. 

Bella Powell Cyber Director, Government Security Group, Minister Abena Oppong-Asare MP, Parliamentary Secretary at the Cabinet Office and Chief Government Security Officer Vincent Devine in front of a design display of London Underground images and icons.

Over 800 delegates attended online and in person. The conference’s overall theme was Accelerating Cyber Transformation and featured over 30 sessions, including a Women in Cyber Breakfast, spot mentoring, and Capture the Flag.

We were delighted to welcome Richard Horne, New CEO of NCSC, Ciaran Martin, former CEO of NCSC, Ollie Whitehouse, CTO of NCSC and Minister Abena Oppong-Asare MP,  Parliamentary Secretary at the Cabinet Office, who joined us in the morning to deliver a keynote address.

The conference was a great opportunity for members of the Government Security Group to show the minister the wide range of activities currently underway in what will be a critical year for Government Cyber Security.
